| Our Mission"Supporting the park, the pups and the people who love them" Since it's formation in 2000, Magnuson Professional Dog Walkers' Association has remained focused on supporting our park community. We sponsor monthly work parties, biannual fundraisers and food drives for local shelters, and spend extra time during our work hours ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the park. MPDWA works closely with Seattle Parks Department, MOLG, COLA and park volunteers. We have currently contributed more than 2696 volunteer hours* at our monthly work parties. Since January 2003, we have donated $15,935* to organizations that help Magnuson Park's Off-leash Area. MPDWA members are dedicated to upholding a positive public image by following our Code of Conduct, strengthening canine/human relationships and giving back to Magnuson's off-leash area. It is required that all MPDWA members be licensed and insured, however MPDWA recommends all potential clients request copies upon initial interview. * Donation and volunteer hour totals current as of 7/2011.
